The fires are burning around here and the smoke in the air keeps me from seeing across the street. Yes forest fires are burning all around Williams Lake, the home of our great Cariboo Computer Magazine.

Another fire is brewing with the internet side of my business. I had a PRI recently put in by Shaw Cable for my dial up customers and half of them cannot connect because Telus, our only phone company has dirty lines and prevents my customers from connecting. They don't seem to care about fixing it and would be more than happy if I just up and closed shop.

Talk about having a miserable summer this year. A few new products made it to this desk for review but nothing too spectacular. Maybe this fall or for Christmas things will pick up if I last that long.
